A Thin Coat is Better
Always apply a thin coat of Minwax? Paste Finishing Wax. A thick coat will dry unevenly and give a blotchy appearance. A good trick is to place a small chunk of paste wax into a piece of cheesecloth and wrap it into a ball. The wax will seep through, keeping you from applying too thick of a coat.
